Tiny Kokon

Kokon does not only focus on large projects, but also has an eye for living on a smaller surface. Without land ownership, without mortgage: very affordable.

Our founder Willen van Tijen already paid attention to 'living for singles', as they called it half a century ago. In that era, the apartment flat was seen as a solution for this group. Kokon is advancing on this: 'tiny living' is the solution for the extra housing-capacity that is currently needed.

As an exercise we have designed tiny houses on the roof of the Groothandelsgebouw in Rotterdam, for which Van Tijen designed a beautiful facade. We are currently working on the realisation of this project. Keep an eye on us.
