We're flying back into it today, with cool aerial photos of Aria South. Really nice to see just how recognizable our urban design is from above!

Aria-Zuid forms one whole with Aria-Noord, as can be seen in the photos. This manifests itself, among other things, in a continuity of atmosphere, appearance, use of materials, street profiles and grain size. The plan is characterized by a linking of public spaces, connected by a slow traffic route. The plan is small-scale and informal. Houses are located on quiet streets or on a small square, court or park.

In the spring, Ron van Leeuwen spoke at length about the area's design process in an interview with client Aannemingsbedrijf Fraanje B.V.
