Akkerranden phase 4 started

Together with the buyers, Gemeente Voorne aan Zee, BPD Gebiedsontwikkeling and VORM Holding, the start of construction of 50 homes in phase 4 was festively celebrated! With this, De Akkerranden is nearing completion.

Kokon provided the urban design and architecture for all 180 homes at this location. The applied architectural style comes from a study of the "regional" housing of Oudenhoorn. The buildings show a variety of masonry colors with contrasting roll layers above the window frames. The rich facade detailing and distinctive features; such as stucco blockwork facades, curved top gables and the use of gable anchors can be seen in the design. See more here.

All homes are energy efficient and will be delivered with a heat pump. The heat pump in combination with solar panels ensures low energy costs. With the Green Certificate issued, an advantageous green financing can be taken out.

Alderman Igor Bal of the Municipality of Voorne aan Zee says: "We are now celebrating the start of the fourth phase, but I am already looking forward to the final phase, when the social rental apartments will also be built. In short, a new neighborhood with something for everyone."
