Filming of Van Tijen documentary

To support the upcoming exhibition on Willem van Tijen at Museum Vlaardingen, we are making a documentary.

In this short film, experts with various links to Van Tijen share their views on the man, the architect and his legacy. These include former employee Han van Ardenne and Reinder van Tijen, son of Willem van Tijen. The Van Tijen family further supported the upcoming exhibition in many ways, including by lending unique objects.

From 15 November, the exhibition ‘Making housing into happiness: Van Tijen and the reconstruction of Vlaardingen' can be visited. The documentary will also be shown in its entirety at the exhibition.
