Makeover Dune Rose completed

Unique facade patterns and expressive UHSB balconies break through the once monotonous appearance of the ensemble of five parallel apartments in Den Helder. With this upgrade, the Dune Rose complexes can move forward for another 50 years.

Commissioned by Housing Foundation Den Helder and in collaboration with Hi-Con Netherlands and Van Wijnen Heerhugowaard B.V., the buildings were totally transformed, with each block getting its own brick, a unique pattern at the head and an enlarged balcony per apartment. View more.

This major upgrade took place in occupied conditions, so that the inconvenience to residents was minimal. Every resident can now enjoy a larger and more beautiful balcony, and the neighborhood has gained an eye-catcher!
