First 3D elements placed at Baskeweg
30-08-2022
In Den Helder, both apartment buildings on the Hendrik Baskeweg were completely stripped before the summer holidays, and in the meantime the first 3D concrete printed elements have been installed! Slowly but surely, the drab buildings are being transformed into Mediterranean eye-catchers.
This upgrade of complexes De Wadden and De Duinen is the largest 3D concrete printing project in the world and also the first time the technique has been applied in this way. How has this created new design opportunities for Kokon as an architect? And what can 3D concrete printing do for you?
Find out during the evening symposium 'ReShaping Architecture' in The New Institute on October 13! Together with Theo Voogd of Bruil and Wim van 't Land of Movares, architect Ron van Leeuwen will tell you all about the design and realization process of the Baskeweg project.
