First milestone of 2025 for Eilandwonen

In the progress of area development Westergouwe phase III, the realisation of Eilandwonen has begun. The subarea houses 10 stylish semi-detached houses and 24 beautiful quay houses with back gardens bordering the water.

The architecture of Eilandwonen combines traditional influences with contemporary designs. The solid brick base is reminiscent of Gouda's historic quay walls, while the upper facades offer a modern interpretation of classic buildings. Details such as window layouts, materials and use of colour have been carefully chosen to create a rich and inviting appearance.

Last October, the 54 flats of subarea Westerhof were completed in Westergouwe. These have four storeys, with a striking six-storey accent on the corner near the diagonal watercourse. The complete plan for Westerhof also includes 30 terraced houses.
