The Plantage nominated for Rhineland Architecture Prize

Great news: the brand new apartment complex De Plantage has been nominated for the Rhineland Architecture Prize 2023! Together with Van der Hulst Bouwbedrijf, Kokon is on the longlist from which an expert jury will compile the shortlist.

The unique design focuses on bulb culture. The balconies are special and inspired by the bulb boxes used for bulb cultivation. The 14 luxury apartments are wonderfully spacious and also built very energy efficient. See more here.

Yvonne van der Hulst: " In addition to the high level of finishing and beautiful use of materials, we have provided the apartments with special detailing that creates a lot of openness at the rear of the building. As a result, the outdoor area on the balconies connects well with the view of the village square."

The shortlist will be announced on September 6.
