Curious local residents were welcome to admire the future plans for The Arsenal Theatre in Municipality of Flushing last month, discover more here.

An analysis of vanished buildings on the site between the concert hall and the dike showed that defence storage buildings had stood here. We have investigated their form and function, and the style and architecture of these buildings is excellent for retrieval. If we restore that, this corner of the city will improve tremendously and everyone will get back a recognisable piece of Vlissingen.

In terms of architecture, we have redeployed the white facades of the former warehouses. Supplemented by the warehouse that was eventually demolished in the 1990s, which will now return as a facade accent. Furthermore, the building will have a representative facade on Oranjedijk.
