Signing up for De Brugse Zoom
22-10-2024
Brugse Zoom is a new, sustainable extension on the edge of Nieuwerbrug aan den Rijn, consisting of a combination of 30 homes for starters and families.
Architect Henk Middelkoop on the project: ‘We chose to reflect the diverse character of Nieuwerbrug in the new village edge by applying varied roof shapes and multiple roof and façade colours. The architecture fits in nicely with the local atmosphere and gives Nieuwerbrug a new village outskirts: De Brugse Zoom.’
The standalone houses, in two colour variants, have large windows and a side entrance, creating an open feel. Combining brick and natural materials in the facades creates a varied streetscape. The semi-detached and semi-detached houses stand out with continuous dormers and the use of two colours of brickwork for visual variation.
Brugse Zoom is part of the new residential area Wijde Wiericke, in the south of Nieuwerbrug, and the last homes are currently on sale.
