Site visit Wilhelminahaven

As architects, we primarily sketch designs at our desks, so to observe our work in real life, Kokon regularly undertakes site visits. This time, we checked out the progress of Wilhelminahaven.

Wilhelminahaven consists of two new portas, designed as entrances to a new neighborhood along the Wilhelmina Canal, which provide space for 80 apartments. Much attention has been paid to attractive and technically advanced materials that require no maintenance. Roof terraces at the corners liven up the building sculpture.

In addition, we visited the Warandepoort, De Contreie and Willemsbuiten. It is always nice to see something realized that until then only existed on paper.
