Social housing ‘De Akkerranden’ completed

Last month, 24 beautiful homes in Oudenhoorn were completed. The first tenants symbolically received the key from the constructor. We wish them much happiness!

This apartment complex is part of the total area development of De Akkerranden, for which Kokon previously designed the urban plan and architecture of all 180 homes. The new village residential area offers a diverse group of people the chance to live in a nice neighbourhood with low housing costs.

The architectural style used originates from a study of Oudenhoorn's ‘rural’ housing. The rich façade detailing and characteristic features, such as the plastered façades in block linkages, the curved gables and the use of gable anchors, are reflected in the design.
