The Fizz celebrates topping off

We celebrated the topping off of our THE FIZZ Europe Leiden together with representatives from Niersman and the construction crew on site and couldn't be more happy about the result so far.

Upon expected completion at the end of 2023, the building will offer 394 independent studios for students. This is an important step in reducing the large housing shortage among students in Leiden. The design consists of two parts: an L-shape and a square, connected by a central glass zone. The masses are staggered in height under the influence of 2 mill biotopes and the nearby houses. Construction of the two-part building began in early 2022. It will be IC's second house in the Netherlands, after the award-winning THE FIZZ Utrecht. IC is targeting LEED Gold certification for the building.
