Tollensstreet is being transformed

Last week, the transformation of a former upstairs flat in Rotterdam-North started. This project involves the realisation of three spacious flats, retaining the traditional character of the house as much as possible.

First, the floors are being reinforced and levelled. Next, new staircases will be installed to improve access to the flats. Kokon's Heritage Team is closely involved in every step of this process.

In addition to residential transformations, the Heritage Department also deals with restorations and renovations of both small-scale private and large-scale corporate heritage projects. Combined with our monumental portfolio of architectural works by Willem van Tijen, we have now accumulated some 100 years of experience in the circular (re)revitalisation of the built environment.
