Recording the Van Tijen documentary

Henk Middelkoop and Reinder van Tijen, son of Kokon's founder Willem van Tijen, filmed at the iconic Zuidplein flat and Plaslaan flat for a documentary about the Rotterdam architect. As designer of a large number of monuments in the city, Van Tijen made a name for himself as one of the founders of social housing. His style is equally apparent at the filming locations, complemented by the contributions of other architects, such as the magnificent Rietveld windows in the Zuidplein flat.
