Baljuwstraat
The exuberant design for the upgrade of apartment block 'Baljuwstraat' in Den Helder has been approved by Den Helder's municipal building aesthetics committee.
The typical seventies' apartment flats in Den Helder will each be upgraded to a separate design, as to achieve individual character for every building. The massive, dull and horizontal image will be extensively altered. Beside enlargement of the balconies and the modernisation of the apartments, the buildings are remodeled, which makes them hard to recognise as galery flats.
