The Fleet Watcher

On the old Albeda site, Kokon is developing the new construction project De Vlootschouwer together with Maasdelta Groep, Facilitaire Stichting Gezondheidszorg (FSG), Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland, the municipality of Maassluis and Dura Vermeer Bouw Zuid West BV. De Vlootschouwer is a residential building with eleven floors. It will contain seventy affordable social rental apartments from Maasdelta for senior citizens and an outpatient clinic. 

The majority of the apartments have three rooms. Only at the very top are a few apartments that have four rooms. Naturally, the entire complex is wheelchair friendly since seniors will be living there. The complex will have a green roof with solar panels.

The FSG owns the spaces on the first floor and will rent them to the parties who will provide care there, including Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland and the Furieade Pharmacy. From the new outpatient clinic, Franciscus Maassluis will offer medical care and diagnostics to all residents of Maassluis and surroundings.
