Double home Essenlaan

Along the Essenlaan in Rotterdam, two semi-detached houses are built according to a design by architect Van Tijen. The houses are based on the same floor plans as the 'drive-in houses’ in Amsterdam, but without the ‘drive-in’ storey. These houses also have the semi-covered balconies, and also a special half round-shaped stairwell with a glass façade, and a twice kinked roof.
