Sveaparken
The district of Sveaparken is characterized by Swedish-style architecture and high architectural ambition.
Kokon Architectuur & Stedenbouw designed the first houses in the district. All houses are designed with sloping roofs, red timber walls and white rimmed window frames. The apartment buildings are designed with roofs that fluctuate over the top of the building. The low gutter provides a conmnection to the surrounding houses. This roof distinguises this apartment building from ordinary apartment buildings and flats.
The rear gardens of the town houses are relatively small, but are situated against public greening. The residents tend to the garden fences, the greening and among others the color palette of the district. Sveaparken, phase 1, consists of 71 commercial town houses, 31 rental apartments and 51 commercial apartments.
