Villa A

In Park-Noord, Berlage-plots have been designed at specific locations in the park, under supervision of Adriaan Geuze. These plots come with additional design requirements, and only when a design conforms to these requirements, the plot may be acquired. Kokon's design for one of these Berlage-plots has been approved for realisation.

By designing a characteristical corner accent and roof, a balanced and sleek design was realised. The vertical lines in the corner accent communicate with the horizontal partitioning at the ground floor. At the southern elevation, integrated roofing was designed to meet requirements for passive building.

During the ongoing design process, the design will be continuously monitored for energy efficiency, as to meet the stringent requirements with a great score sheet. To meet this end score, the requirements are 15kWh/m²/year.
